About the Role

SEE Group have a great career opportunity available for Experienced Plant Operators to join our highly professional and skilled team on a major infrastructure project in Orange, NSW. This is a diverse and fast-paced role working on an 8 on / 6 off roster, with Local, DIDO, or FIFO from Brisbane opportunities. 

Responsibilities

  • Carry out pre-start checklists on plant you're required to operate
  • Operate /drive plant properly and safely to suit the individual job conditions.
  • Ensure safety of other team members and the public in accordance with the legislative requirements.
  • Report any fault/damage/problem the plant you are assigned to the Site Supervisor.
  • Service equipment by cleaning, lubricating and re-fueling it and make minor adjustments and repairs when necessary, in consultation with the Workshop Personnel.
  • Keep plant in a clean and tidy state.

Essential Skills and Attributes

  • Hold an Excavator, Dozer, or Haul Truck ticket
  • Have an OHS Induction Card
  • Be reliable and trustworthy with the ability to work with little supervision and be able to work as part of a team
  • Strong safety initiative
  • Have excellent communication skills
  • Be reliable and dedicated to the role
  • Be able to pass a pre-employment medical examination, including a drug and alcohol screen
