The Role

As our Breakfast Chef, you'll be responsible for leading the breakfast service, preparing high-quality dishes, and ensuring smooth kitchen operations during peak morning hours. This role is perfect for someone who thrives under pressure, takes pride in presentation, and enjoys being part of a collaborative and positive team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, cook, and plate breakfast and brunch menu items to a high standard.
  • Manage prep and mise en place ahead of service.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment in line with food safety standards.
  • Assist with menu development and specials, bringing fresh ideas to the table.
  • Work efficiently under pressure, ensuring consistency and speed during busy service periods.
  • Support the Head Chef and kitchen team with stock control, ordering, and minimising waste.

About You

  • Proven experience as a Breakfast Chef, Cook, or similar role in a fast-paced café or restaurant.
  • Strong knowledge of breakfast and brunch-style cooking, with excellent plating skills.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work mornings and weekends.
  • Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively.
  • Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
  • A passion for hospitality, creativity, and delivering an outstanding dining experience.
