Nestled in the heart of Mudgee, The Clairfield Hotel offers boutique luxury with 56 beautifully appointed rooms (including 13 upper-level suites), a heated pool, steam room, Jila Wellness Centre, and our signature restaurant and bar. We're a tight-knit, guest-focused crew looking for a reliable casual receptionist to bring warmth, energy, and polish to every shift.

The role

You'll be the friendly face of the hotel—managing check-ins, check-outs, and guest enquiries with care and efficiency. This is a casual position with a flexible roster that includes evenings, weekends, and public holidays. Access to a reliable vehicle is essential.

What you'll bring

  • A genuine team player with a positive, can-do attitude
  • Excellent communication skills and a warm, professional manner
  • Impeccable presentation at all times
  • The ability to stay calm under pressure and prioritise with ease
  • Previous front-desk, concierge, or customer-facing experience preferred (but not essential—we value attitude and aptitude)
  • Comfort using booking/reservation systems (full training provided)
