Senior Dental Receptionist / Front Office Coordinator

Location: Balmain, NSW

Position: Full-Time (or Part-Time – let us know your availability)

As our practice continues to grow, we're looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Dental Receptionist or Front Office Coordinator to join our team and be the face of our practice.

About the Role:

This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a dynamic dental setting and takes pride in delivering outstanding front office service. You'll be the first point of contact for our patients — creating a welcoming, organised, and seamless experience from the moment they walk through the door.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greeting and checking in patients with warmth and professionalism
  • Managing the appointment book and daily schedule efficiently
  • Handling phone and email enquiries with excellent communication
  • Processing payments, HICAPS claims, and health fund queries
  • Maintaining accurate patient records and managing recalls
  • Supporting the clinical team with administrative tasks as needed

About You:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a dental or healthcare reception role
  • Strong understanding of dental terminology, procedures, and systems
  • Confident using dental software (experience with Core Practice or D4W preferred)
  • Organised, detail-oriented, and proactive under pressure
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A team player with a positive attitude and a passion for patient care
