Who are we?

Sproutt is a multi-disciplinary infrastructure asset management, engineering and design consultancy servicing a wide range of local government, state government and private sector clients throughout Australia. Our Infrastructure Asset Management team works with clients to provide bespoke solutions for infrastructure data collection, data management and analysis, through to forward works planning and development of asset management plans.

About the Role

As an Asset Inspector at Sproutt, you will be in the field collecting data for a diverse range of infrastructure assets such as buildings and structures, open space and recreation, roads, footpaths, stormwater, and everything in between You'll be part of a team of Asset Inspectors and supported by the wider Infrastructure Asset Management team to succeed. As part of this role, you will use technology such as tablets, smart phones, and computers to capture data. You will also have input into the office-based processing and reporting on data captured in the field.

This role will occasionally require working away from Adelaide on a Monday-Friday schedule. Travel includes interstate, as well as South Australian regional and remote areas.

About You

  • Background/industry knowledge in infrastructure asset management inspections, engineering, construction or surveying, or demonstrated transferrable skills.
  • Certificate or tertiary qualification in asset inspection, engineering, construction, or surveying.
  • Reliable and thorough approach to tasks with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Ability to engage with clients and stakeholders onsite.
  • Good management of time and travel/scheduling logistics.
  • Proficient use of tablets and computers..
  • Report writing experience.
  • Proficient use of the Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel (or willingness to increase skills).
  • Comfortable with extended travel away from Adelaide.
  • Unrestricted drivers' licence.
  • Unrestricted working rights (no hours limitations in place from Visa etc)

Desirable Qualifications

  • Infrastructure Asset Inspection experience.
  • Regional / Remote travel experience.
