The Opportunity

As Council's Health & Wellbeing Business Partner you will play critical role in shaping and delivering Council's Health & Wellbeing strategy, with a focus on helping our employees thrive.

Working as a key member of our Workplace Health & Safety team, our Health & Wellbeing Business Partner is responsible for overseeing workers' compensation activities, coordinating injury management and return to work cases, and leading wellbeing initiatives across the organisation.

As a subject matter expert in health and wellbeing, injury management and recovery at work, you will assist our employees in a safe and sustainable return to work, and partner with Council leaders to build their capability in supporting the wellbeing of our people.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have qualifications in Injury Management, WHS, or Human Resource Management.

You will have demonstrated experience in workers compensation and injury management and hold the relevant SIRA Return to Work Coordination Certificate. Further, you will possess strong negotiation skills with the ability to resolve complex issues and problems.

The Benefits

This is a full-time permanent position, working 35 hours per week, with a salary range of $111,958 - $124,273 per year based on demonstrated competencies + private leaseback vehicle + 12% super p.a.
