About the role

JK FLOORCOVERINGS PTY LTD' is seeking an experienced or no experience Vinyl flooring installer to join our team in South Brisbane, Queensland. This is a full-time position where you will be responsible for the installation of high-quality vinyl flooring in residential and commercial properties.

What you'll be doing

  1. Accurately measure and assess floor spaces to determine the required materials
  2. Prepare floor surfaces by removing existing flooring, levelling and cleaning
  3. Expertly cut, fit and install vinyl flooring to the highest standards
  4. Ensure all work is completed efficiently and to the client's satisfaction
  5. Maintain a clean and tidy work environment
  6. Comply with all relevant health and safety regulations

What we're looking for

  1. We prefer someone with experience but are willing to take someone on with no experience as long as you are willing to learn and apply yourself
  2. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work to high standards of quality
  3. Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
  4. Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
  5. A positive, customer-focused attitude and the ability to work collaboratively
  6. A current driver's licence and reliable transportation
