We are now looking for a Business Development Manager,to become a key member of our team.

This role is key to promote the Tyremax Company and its brands in the marketplace, to secure new accounts.

Key Responsibilities

  • New business development, identifying potential customers and devising strategies to transform them into regular accounts.
  • Successfully promote company USP's and products to potential customers, maintaining a clear focus on the desired outcome.
  • Use creative selling strategies in view of establishing regular accounts.
  • Introduce new product lines to existing accounts
  • Ensure GP is maintained in accordance with budgetary requirements on all accounts.
  • Assist Head Office accounts department with credit applications
  • Actively engage in product and sales training, ensuring product and company knowledge is up to date.
  • Provide Sales Co-ordinator with monthly call plans.
  • Liaise with Branch Internal Sales Staff as required.
  • Provide feedback and suggestions to the team on market information, areas for improvement and new product opportunities.
  • Attend and participate in relevant meetings.
  • Maintain regular contact with developing customers.
  • Analyse reports and spend for all customers.
  • Prepare quotations for key customers.
  • Update and review the sales pipeline in view of ensuring targeted sales growth is maintained.
  • Support and assist with the implementation of systems and procedures.
  • Understand and support the company's mission, vision and value statements.

Qualifications Required

  • A sound product, service and pricing knowledge
