Coonamble Shire Council is seeking a motivated and strategic leader to join our forward-thinking team. This is a unique opportunity to work under the mentorship of an experienced executive and contribute to shaping the future of our Shire.

As Manager – Economic Development & Growth, you will report directly to the Director – Community, Planning, Development & Environment. You'll lead a dedicated team focused on expanding the Shire's economic base, supporting local business growth, and driving sustainable development.

Your role will involve:

  • Advising on and implementing initiatives that stimulate economic activity
  • Supporting business retention and expansion
  • Attracting diverse and responsible new industries
  • Enhancing the Shire's profile to draw investment, tourism, and new residents

We're looking for someone with strong leadership capabilities, a proactive mindset, and relevant experience aligned with Council's vision and strategic goals.
