The Group operates within the insurance intermediary sector, providing insurance broking, underwriting agency, post claim rehabilitation, investigation, and loss adjusting to small and medium enterprise businesses.

The Automation Specialist plays a key role in the group's Technology Solutions Team, providing support for automation projects from concept through to deployment and ongoing maintenance supporting the group as a whole. The Automation Specialist will work closely with stakeholders to identify automation opportunities, design effective solutions, and ensure the reliability of deployed systems. This is a great opportunity for someone who has one to two years of experience in a similar role and is looking to grow themselves in a rewarding position within the automation arena

Key Responsibilities in the position would see you:

  • Working collaboratively with internal stakeholders to conduct preliminary research and support in automation projects.
  • Applying in-depth professional knowledge, judgement and understanding to interpret procedures, solve administrative/operational matters and provide advice on automation solutions.
  • Delivering automation solutions that meet stakeholder requirements and have undergone satisfactory UAT.
  • Coordinating and support internal stakeholders with ongoing management of automation solutions.
  • Creating and maintain documentation for automation and data processing solutions.

What experiences & competencies do you bring?

  • Proven experience in a similar role for 3+ years.
  • Demonstrated experience with Azure API Management (APIM), including designing, deploying, securing, and monitoring APIs within Azure environments. Proficient in managing API gateways, policies, and integrations to support scalable automation and platform interoperability.
  • Demonstrable skills in the use (and development) of Power Automate automations is critical to your success in this role.
  • Exposure to PowerApps, Power Platform and UI Paths is advantageous.
  • Proficient organisational and time management skills with demonstrated ability to work will under pressure, establish and respond to changing priorities, manage multiple tasks and meet competing deadlines by using judgement and initiative.
