About The Role
VidaCorp is seeking a highly skilled and commercially minded Legal Counsel to provide legal advice and support across our business operations. This role will work closely with Marketing, R&D, Sales, Supply Chain, and Procurement teams, ensuring compliance, protecting our brand, and enabling growth.

You will be responsible for managing a wide portfolio of legal matters with a focus on intellectual property, marketing, and commercial contracts, while also delivering practical compliance training and advice.

Role & Responsibilities

• Lead management of VidaCorp's intellectual property portfolio, including trade marks and IP clearance.
• Provide legal oversight on new product development (NPD and regulatory issues.
• Advise on marketing and advertising issues across the portfolio.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contractual arrangements such as agency agreements and influencer contracts.
• Support and manage dispute resolution processes
• Draft, review, and negotiate trading terms, supply arrangements, procurement agreements, distribution agreements, and customer contracts.
• Advise on pricing, promotional activity, and compliance with competition and consumer law
• Provide regular ad-hoc legal updates across the business to ensure awareness of regulatory and legislative changes.
• Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, always balancing legal risk with commercial objectives.

Skills & Experience

• Admitted to practice in Australia with a minimum of 4 years' post-admission experience.
• Strong intellectual property, general commercial andcommercial and contract law and litigation experience;
• A combination of solid law firm and FMCG or a similar fast-paced industry experience, ideally with in-house exposure including dealing with a network of external counsel.
• International experience an advantage.
• Excellent written (including contract drafting) and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage at a senior levels.
• Energetic, independent, and personable, with a pragmatic problem-solving mindset.
• High attention to detail and proven ability to manage competing priorities under pressure.
• Commercially astute, proactive, and solutions-focused
