Role Description

This is a contract role for a Volunteer with the Indian Film Festival of Sydney (IFFS) from 3rd – 5th October 2025. The role is on-site and located in Sydney, NSW. Volunteers will assist with event coordination, guest services, and logistical support during the festival. Responsibilities include helping with venue setup, assisting attendees, coordinating with vendors, and providing on-ground support to ensure the efficient execution of festival activities.

Qualifications

  • Event coordination and logistical support skills
  • Guest services and attendee assistance experience
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Prior experience in event management or film festivals is a plus
