Catering HQ is seeking a dedicated and committed Apprentice Chefs to join our amazing kitchen teams at our Venues across NSW. We have opportunities in both Restaurant and Function/Event Kitchens.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in food preparation and cooking under the guidance of our experienced chefs
  • Maintain a clean and organised kitchen workspace
  • Rotate through different styles of cooking in our venues outlets
  • Learn a variety of roles in the kitchen
  • Learn and apply safe food handling and hygiene practices
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure efficient service during busy periods
  • Embrace the opportunity for career progression within the culinary field

KEY QUALITIES

  • Enthusiasm for food and a strong desire to pursue a career as a Chef
  • A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skill
  • Passion to learn and grow in the company
  • Currently enrolled in Commercial Cookery Course or enrolling in next intake
