• In addition to base salary, this position attracts Superannuation, Leave Loading, Zone Allowance and once off Incidental Payment (conditions apply), Professional Development Allowance, Locality Allowance and Salary Sacrificing Benefits (salary packaging).

Roxby Downs Health Service is situated approximately 250kms north of Port Augusta. It is a 10 bed (including flex bed) facility. The health service provides an accident and emergency service, as well a general medical, as well has having a wide range of regular visiting outpatient services. About the Role:

Take the next step in your career as a Nurse/Midwife Unit Manager and lead with purpose in delivering high-quality, patient-centred care. In this pivotal role, you'll coordinate and oversee the work of a dedicated nursing/midwifery and multi-disciplinary team, ensuring continuity of care and positive outcomes for patients and clients. You'll bring your clinical knowledge, leadership, and passion for developing people to build team performance, foster a supportive workplace culture, and drive excellence in practice and service delivery.

About You:

• Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse/Midwife with AHPRA and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
• Registered Nurse and or Midwife with at least 3 years post registration experience.
• Demonstrated competence in the relevant area of nursing and/or midwifery practice in accordance with the relevant standards.
• Experience in management and leadership roles.
• Experience in the supervision of students, enrolled nurses and less experienced registered nurses and or midwives.
