About the Role
As the Facilities and Production Engineering Team Lead, you will play a pivotal role in driving the successful delivery of engineering outcomes across multiple programs.
With limited guidance, you will lead and support a team of engineers, fostering their growth while ensuring engineering artefacts are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
This role requires strong leadership, a commitment to technical excellence, and the ability to operate across multiple engineering domains.
You'll also support systems engineering, production integration, and the continuous improvement of engineering processes throughout the lifecycle.
About You
You are an experienced engineering leader with a strong background in facilities, infrastructure or systems engineering, ideally within complex or defence-related programs.
Your ability to lead multidisciplinary teams, manage technical investigations, and deliver engineering solutions with sound judgement will set you apart.
You thrive on balancing technical detail with strategic oversight and are confident in engaging with both internal and external stakeholders.
Your understanding of product integrity, risk management, and statutory compliance ensures the safety and effectiveness of engineering outputs across the program lifecycle.
To be successful in this position you will bring:
- Extensive experience in relatable technical/engineering roles.
- A good understanding of applicable engineering toolsets (e.g. PLM or MRP systems, design, simulation and analysis software).
- Knowledge of Facility Monitoring principles especially in defence environments.
- Experience in Civil/Infrastructure development and installation projects
- Knowledge of Production Quality Control processes and lean six-sigma manufacturing principles
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team to achieve desired results
