We are looking for an experienced and passionate Pastry Chef to join our growing team.
About the Role:
As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for:
• Preparing, baking, and decorating a variety of pastries, desserts, cakes, and breads.
• Create Arabic sweets including but not limited to: Baklava, Namoura, Madloua, Mafrouki, Halawat Al Jibn and other decorated pastries.
• Developing new recipes and seasonal menus to satisfy customer demands of Arabian Sweets. The quality, taste and authenticity of the product is essential.
• The successful applicant must keep up with high production rate to meet customer needs.
• Ensuring quality, presentation, and consistency in all products.
• Managing stock, ordering supplies, and minimising wastage.
• Maintaining food safety, hygiene, and WHS standards. Also, have expertise in baking to perfection by using equipments such as industrial mixes/ ovens temperature.
• Supervising and training other staff.
Skills & Experience Required:
• Certificate III in Patisserie or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 5 years' full-time relevant experience as a Pastry Chef.
• Strong knowledge of patisserie techniques, flavour combinations, and presentation.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Excellent teamwork, communication, and time management skills.
