Position Details:

  • Position: Pastry Chef/Bakers
  • Annual Salary: AUD $70,000 - $75,000 (negotiable based on experience)
  • Location: Sydney, Australia
  • Required Experience: Must speak fluent Korean/ Minimum 2 years of kitchen experience
  • Visa Requirements: Must hold a work-eligible visa, such as a Working Holiday Visa

Job description:

  • Prepare, mix, and bake a wide range of bread, cakes, pastries, and cookies, ensuring consistency in flavor, texture, and presentation.
  • Handle packaging and organize product displays to maintain freshness and visual appeal, creating an inviting experience for customers.
  • Support the Head Baker in day-to-day operations, including recipe execution, kitchen coordination, and quality control.
  • Develop and produce desserts, cakes, pastries, and seasonal items, contributing creative input to menu innovation.
  • Ensure all baked goods meet food safety and hygiene standards, maintaining a clean and efficient working environment.
  • Assist with inventory management by monitoring ingredient levels, reducing waste, and ordering supplies as needed.
