About the Role
We are looking for a highly motivated and independent self-starter to join our team as a Sales Representative focused on Atlassian solutions. This is a strategic role for someone who will own the business development strategy and execution, drive growth, and lay the foundation for Hicron's Atlassian practice in Australia. The ideal candidate will be equipped to grow the Atlassian business, build strong customer relationships, and ultimately evolve into a Business Development Manager. You'll work closely with our marketing and go-to-market teams, and leverage Atlassian's partner programs and incentives to maximize impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute end-to-end business development strategies for Atlassian subscriptions and services.
- Build and manage a pipeline of opportunities across mid-market and enterprise clients.
- Utilize Atlassian Partner Programs and incentives to drive value and alignment.
- Collaborate with pre-sales engineers to deliver tailored demos and solution proposals.
- Work with Hicron's marketing team to execute campaigns and go-to-market initiatives.
- Take ownership of sales targets, reporting, and forecasting.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in B2B software sales, with a focus on Atlassian or similar SaaS platforms.
- Proven success in selling Atlassian Cloud subscriptions, Marketplace apps, and consulting services.
- Strong understanding of Atlassian Partner Programs, including incentives, tiers, and co-selling models.
- Exposure to pre-sales activities such as discovery, scoping, and solution presentations.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach and leadership potential.
