We're on the lookout for a talented and ambitious Lawyer to join our Commercial team in Dandenong, working primarily across trade and trading matters. You will work directly with Principal Lawyers Kelly Dickson and Paul Kirton, and a highly skilled and collaborative team. You'll gain hands-on experience and benefit from ongoing mentorship to support your professional development.

This is a dynamic role where no two days are ever the same. You will work across a broad range of areas including

  • Competition Law and ACCC issues.
  • Consumer Law, including advertising, labelling, warranties, product safety, and recalls.
  • Trading terms and documents.
  • Privacy and data protection.
  • Personal Property Securities (PPS).
  • Consumer Credit.
  • Anti-Money Laundering / Counter-Terrorism Financing (AML-CTF).
  • Intellectual Property and Trademark matters, where the team requires additional support.

Our clients range from ASX-listed companies and multinationals to small and medium-sized businesses, primarily across the manufacturing, retail, agriculture, food, and fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sectors.

About You
You'll ideally bring

  • A minimum of 2 years PQE.
  • Demonstrated experience in Commercial and Trade Law.
  • Exposure to Intellectual Property and Trademarks (desirable).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and high attention to detail.
  • Ability to think quickly and deliver clear, commercial and tailored advice.
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence engaging directly with clients.
  • A commitment to delivering outstanding client service.
