Key Job Responsibilities

Assemble, maintain and repair a wide range of mining and construction equipment to customer specifications.

  • Repair and maintenance of both new and used equipment
  • Conduct basic failure analysis and identify specific modes of failure
  • Preparation and testing pre-delivery inspections of new equipment
  • Ensure all work carried out is performed in a safe manner
  • Completion and submission of all relevant paperwork and reports

Maintain a clean and tidy working environment in line with company standards.

Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • Relevant Mechanical Trade qualification - Commercial Vehicle trades will also be considered.
  • Previous experience with the assembly, overhaul, repair and servicing of mechanical and hydraulic components on construction and/or mining equipment.
  • High Risk Work licences (forklift, dogging, working at heights, etc) would be highly regarded.
  • A safety focus with a good understanding of Workplace Health and Safety principles.
  • Good communication skills and a dedication to providing quality work.
