As the Consultant, Product Management, 13 month fixed term contract, you will be part of the Business Lending Product team, that's doubling down on customer obsession.

Each day, you'll go above and beyond to:

• Deliver material improvement in NAB's core lending product set, to improve customer, broker and banker experience to increase sales, improve NPS and grow market share through active engagement with Distribution and Operations teams to develop and implement solutions.

• Develop detailed understanding of product processes and drive engagement across the value chain to improve collaboration and support customer and colleague service quality.

• Identify, champion and implement continuous improvement opportunities across end-to-end processes, in conjunction with product managers and business unit engagement teams.

• Develop detailed understanding the risk and control frameworks across product processes, and actively manage the operating product risk profile to improve quality and compliance.

• Support product initiative delivery by understanding process impacts and working with value chain partners to develop and implement solutions. As a product SME, support wider bank initiatives to deliver value and change.

• Help NAB achieve its business lending objectives.

We're looking for the best and brightest to deliver the best for our customers. You'll need:

• Demonstrated experience working in a similar Product Management Consultant role within Banking, preferably in the Business Lending domain, or as a management consultant.

• Proven experience and knowledge of product management disciplines and business lending processes coupled with an understanding of product processes through the value chain to support initiative delivery and identify opportunities to improve.

• Demonstrated experience in process analysis and design, structured problem solving and operational risk management.

• Prior experience in product development & initiative management coupled with change management and implementation experience is desirable.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.

• Proven experience with effectively engaging and influencing a wide array of stakeholders, a high degree of business acumen.

• Demonstrated experience and knowledge of Agile ways of working is desirable.

• Proactive approach to problem-solving with proven analytical capability, and close attention to detail.
