About the Role
We're looking for a Platform Support Analyst to join our Platform team.
In this role, you'll be central to the stability and performance of the Mason Stevens platform ecosystem. You'll be responsible for supporting, maintaining, and enhancing the suite of business applications that underpin our platform. Your work will help ensure these critical systems run smoothly, efficiently and continue to meet the evolving needs of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
Support
- Manage all internal tickets relating to vendor platforms
- Analyse issues, and assist in deriving short term solutions and documenting longer term solutions
- General troubleshooting of day-to-day issues
- Scheduling and monitoring daily process jobs, acting on issues
- Vendor liaison and vendor performance management
- Maintain Platform Support knowledge repository
Other
- Maintaining and updating technical instruction manuals, policies, and procedures
- Testing platform prototypes, upgrades, or updates
- Training business users on core systems
Required Skills, Knowledge and Attributes:
- Deep understanding of financial portfolio management, trading execution, portfolio analytics and account administration
- Experience in issue triaging, root cause analysis, and solving complex application issues
- Ability to juggle multiple issues simultaneously in a fast-paced high-pressure environment
- Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Willing to work on weekends and/or after hours when necessary
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Have a client-first attitude, and high attention to detail in resolving issues
Desired Skills and Attributes:
- Understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements
- Up-to-date knowledge of scripting, coding and application software
- Experience with change control and system upgrades
Qualifications:
- Tertiary degree, IT related discipline (preferred)
- 2-4 years plus experience in a financial institution (preferred)
