Claims Support Consultant

The Role:

Play a crucial role in ensuring the claims support activities are undertaken in a timely, efficient and accurate manner to ensure the claims processing can occur efficiently. Ensuring all necessary information and documentation is readily available when needed will support smooth communication and efficient decision

making.

Responsibilities:

• Triaging of files to the various recoveries and settlements teams, to achieve best cost and service outcomes
• Various administration tasks such as processing payments, updating claims information, processing inbound emails, calls and documents
• Support with outsourcing to service providers such as Tapanda, Merc Agents, Legal panel etc
• Co-ordinating F&R (fair and reasonable) assessments and undertaking follow up action
• Loading of POLs to support Settlements claims consultants in management of their claims
• Review of 180 day no contact claims to ensure operational rhythms are maintained

What are we looking for?

• Motor Claims, or related fields will be highly regarded but not necessary
• A keen eye for detail and high degree of accuracy
• Highly organised with the ability to prioritise and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, with effective multitasking skills
• A strong commitment to delivering excellent customer service
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Intermediate computer skills – ability to troubleshoot and comfort working in multiple systems
