About the role

Trico Services is seeking an experienced Refrigeration Technician to join our growing team in Melbourne. This full-time role will involve performing a range of refrigeration and air conditioning installation, maintenance and repair tasks for our commercial and residential clients across Victoria. What you'll be doing

  1. Diagnosing, troubleshooting and repairing a variety of refrigeration and HVAC systems
  2. Installing new equipment and systems to industry standards
  3. Performing scheduled maintenance checks and servicing on refrigeration units
  4. Providing exceptional customer service and responding promptly to callouts
  5. Maintaining detailed records and documentation for all work undertaken
  6. Ensuring strict compliance with all relevant safety regulations and procedures

What we're looking for

  1. Formal qualifications in refrigeration or HVAC, such as a Certificate III in Engineering - Refrigeration and Air Conditioning
  2. Minimum 3 years' experience as a Refrigeration Technician, preferably in a commercial setting
  3. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve faults efficiently
  4. Excellent attention to detail and ability to work autonomously to a high standard
  5. Excellent communication skills to liaise with clients and provide clear explanations
  6. A current driver's licence and reliable vehicle for travel to job sites
