SALARY: $100,000–$110,000 + Super + Company Vehicle + Phone

THE OPPORTUNITY: Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Commercial Refrigeration Technician to join our service team. You'll handle a varied workload: diagnostics, repairs, installs, commissioning and preventative maintenance on a range of commercial systems.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Diagnose, repair and maintain commercial refrigeration systems (cool rooms, freezers, self contained systems, display cases and ice makers).
- Perform preventative maintenance and compliance checks.
- Fault-find mechanical, electrical and control issues efficiently.
- Install and commission new or upgraded systems/equipment.
- Complete accurate service reports and client recommendations.
- Deliver professional on-site customer service.
- Collaborate with internal team to meet project and service timeframes.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
- 4+ years commercial refrigeration service experience.
- Strong refrigeration cycle and diagnostics knowledge
- Current Refrigerant Handling (ARC) Licence.
- Current Victorian Driver's Licence.
- White Card / Construction Induction.
- Must hold valid Disconnect/Reconnect Electrical Authorisation.
- Clear communication and customer-facing professionalism.
- Ability to work autonomously and within a team.
HIGHLY REGARDED (NOT ESSENTIAL)
- Supermarket rack / CO₂ / cascade / glycol experience.
- Controls / BMS exposure (e.g. Danfoss, Carel, Emerson).
- Experience with commissioning energy‑efficient retrofits.
