THE OPPORTUNITY: Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Commercial Refrigeration Technician to join our service team. You'll handle a varied workload: diagnostics, repairs, installs, commissioning and preventative maintenance on a range of commercial systems.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Diagnose, repair and maintain commercial refrigeration systems (cool rooms, freezers, self contained systems, display cases and ice makers).
  • Perform preventative maintenance and compliance checks.
  • Fault-find mechanical, electrical and control issues efficiently.
  • Install and commission new or upgraded systems/equipment.
  • Complete accurate service reports and client recommendations.
  • Deliver professional on-site customer service.
  • Collaborate with internal team to meet project and service timeframes.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

  • 4+ years commercial refrigeration service experience.
  • Strong refrigeration cycle and diagnostics knowledge
  • Current Refrigerant Handling (ARC) Licence.
  • Current Victorian Driver's Licence.
  • White Card / Construction Induction.
  • Must hold valid Disconnect/Reconnect Electrical Authorisation.
  • Clear communication and customer-facing professionalism.
  • Ability to work autonomously and within a team.

HIGHLY REGARDED (NOT ESSENTIAL)

  • Supermarket rack / CO₂ / cascade / glycol experience.
  • Controls / BMS exposure (e.g. Danfoss, Carel, Emerson).
  • Experience with commissioning energy‑efficient retrofits.
