I am currently exclusively recruiting a
Safety Coordinator role
to join a business delivering quality projects within Tier 1 civil infrastructure as a subcontractor. This role is ideal for someone passionate about safety, compliance, and continuous improvement, who wants to play a key role in building and maintaining a strong safety culture.

About the Role

As Safety Coordinator, you'll be responsible for supporting WHS compliance across major civil infrastructure projects. You'll work closely with project teams, supervisors, and management to ensure operations meet Tier 1 standards while fostering a safe, supportive, and accountable workplace.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and monitor WHS policies, procedures, and systems
  • Conduct site inspections, audits, and risk assessments
  • Assist with incident reporting, investigations, and corrective actions
  • Deliver safety inductions, toolbox talks, and training sessions
  • Maintain accurate safety documentation and legislative compliance
  • Promote a proactive culture of safety and continuous improvement

About You

  • Previous WHS/safety experience in
    civil infrastructure
    (Tier 1/2 exposure highly regarded)
  • Strong knowledge of WHS legislation and industry standards
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills across all levels
  • Certificate IV in WHS and knowledge of AS4801
  • Passionate about workplace safety and building positive team culture
  • Must have full Australian work rights
