Perth, Western Australia WesTrac Pty Ltd Full time $90,000 - $120,000 per year

Reporting to the Forecast Planning Supervisor, the Planner will be responsible for providing detailed build information to enable efficient compliance to plan process within the execution team. You will be the single point of reference for the safe and efficient execution of rebuild work within the department.

Roster: Mon - Fri, 8.5 hours per day (including unpaid meal breaks)

Location: Welshpool, WA

What you'll do:

  • Develop and maintain detailed build plans to support efficient execution of major rebuilds
  • Act as the single point of contact for coordinating rebuild activities across departments
  • Interpret customer-approved scopes and translate them into actionable work plans
  • Allocate tasks across fabrication, electrical, and mechanical teams based on the plan
  • Lead pre-arrival planning meetings with operations to gather input and refine execution strategy
  • Monitor job progress and adjust plans as needed to resolve issues and maintain momentum

Skills and Experience:

  • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude with the ability to absorb technical information quickly.
  • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and interpersonal)
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build and maintain successful working relationships.
  • Basic understanding of financial principles (e.g. budgeting, forecasting)
  • Experience with planning tools such as Gantt, AMT, Project
  • Advanced computer literacy skills - MS Office, internet-based applications.
  • Demonstrated analytical, problem solving and negotiation skills to effectively resolve issues in the workplace.
  • High level attention to detail
  • Advanced time management, planning and organisational skills with the ability to manage fluctuating workloads and priorities to meet objectives.
  • Ability to work successfully within a team and autonomously.
