Senior Planner

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Planner to join a high-performing project team working across major resource and infrastructure developments.

Based in Perth with site travel as required, this role plays a critical part in delivering complex projects on time and within scope.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain detailed and master project schedules
  • Perform critical path analysis, "what-if" scenarios, and schedule health checks
  • Integrate contractor schedules into the master program
  • Implement Earned Value Management and monitor CPI/SPI trends
  • Prepare accurate weekly and monthly progress reports
  • Participate in schedule workshops, risk reviews, and capital planning processes
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure scope clarity and execution readiness

About You:

  • Minimum 10 years' experience in project planning, including client-side exposure across full project life cycles
  • Strong background in iron ore operations, shutdown planning, and operational workflows
  • Proficient in Primavera P6, SAP, Power BI, and MS Office Suite
  • Skilled in schedule integration, productivity analysis, and contractor coordination
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work autonomously and in a team
  • Tertiary qualifications in engineering or project controls (desirable)
