Great opportunity for a confident, well rounded intermediate tax accountant wanting to take on a challenging role encompassing responsibility for a designated portfolio of clients comprising various tasks from bookkeeping, BAS's, small business advice right through to completion of financial accounts and tax returns.

This is a client facing role working closely with a Senior Accountant.

· Applicants must have proven prior experience within a CPA/CA/IPA Firm in a Public Practice accounting and tax compliance role preferably with around 5 years continuous experience.

· Analytical and proficient in understanding business structures, preparation of financial statements, tax return and activity statement preparation for Companies, Trusts, Partnerships and Individuals. SMSF's not essential.

· With established knowledge and ability to resolve general issues in the areas of CGT small business concessions, FBT, GST, Div.7A .

· Good working knowledge of MYOB AE, MYOB, Xero and M/S suite of packages.

· Must speak fluent English and be an exceptional communicator both verbal and written as this role is a client facing role with client interaction therefore the candidate must have the ability to build rapport easily with clients, network partners and work colleagues.

· The position will report directly to a Senior Accountant and will work very closely with that person in managing a portfolio of clients in a diverse client base with varied turnover. The candidate will have input into tax planning, succession and estate planning, asset protection, business structures and restructuring and the like.
