About the role
We are seeking experienced Cooks to join a young, growing team at the Grand View Hotel in Wentworth Falls, only 30mins from Penrith. As a Cook, you will play a crucial role in preparing and delivering exceptional food experiences for our guests. This is a full-time position, offering the opportunity to be part of an innovative and dynamic hospitality environment.
What you'll be doing
- Preparing and cooking a variety of meals
- Assisting with menu development and implementation
- Ensuring strict adherence to food safety and hygiene regulations
- Facilitating stock management
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of kitchen operations
- Providing exceptional customer service and a positive dining experience for our guests
What we're looking for
- Proven experience as a Cook or in a similar kitchen role within the hospitality industry
- Strong technical cooking skills and knowledge of various cooking methods and techniques
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality food
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Enthusiasm for creating innovative and delicious dishes
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Food safety and hygiene certification
