About the role

Coverforce is seeking an experienced Insurance Broker to join our team in Perth, WA. As an Insurance Broker managing an SME portfolio you will be responsible for providing tailored insurance solutions to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the local market. This is a full-time role based in our modern Perth office, with the opportunity to work flexibly in accordance with the company evolving policy

What you'll be doing

  • Engaging with SME clients to understand their unique insurance needs
  • Researching and analysing the market to identify the most appropriate insurance products and providers
  • Preparing comprehensive insurance proposals and quotes for clients
  • Negotiating with insurance providers to secure the best possible coverage and terms for clients
  • Liaising with clients to explain policy details and assist with claims management
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with a portfolio of SME clients
  • Supporting the development and implementation of new insurance solutions for the SME market

What we're looking for

  • Proven experience as an insurance broker, preferably within the SME sector. A minimum of 3 years in a similar position is an absolute requirement
  • Strong understanding of the insurance industry, products and regulatory environment
  • Excellent client relationship and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to analyse complex information and provide tailored insurance recommendations
  • Highly organised with a focus on delivering exceptional client service
  • The ability to manage and direct an appointed Broker Assistant within the tea
