About the role

As a Sunshine Sugar Apprentice, your on-the-job training will be structured to ensure you are fully supported by our professional tradespeople to become a qualified Boilermaker over a four year apprenticeship period.

You will learn to produce metal fabricated products such as structures, frames, plate assemblies, pipe-work and vessels using tools, welding and thermal cutting equipment and fabrication techniques. You will also learn to use a wide range of hand and hand held power tools and workshop machines such as drills, grinders, clamps, benders and lifting equipment.

Upon completion, you will receive a nationally recognised trade Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication. Sunshine Sugar provide a structured process with workplace based training, supported by theory and practical components through local TAFE one day per week.

We are looking for:
