Director for Early Learning Centre

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Director to lead our team at Bunbury Baptist Early Learning Centre in Dalyellup, WA. The centre is located on the College grounds. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for overseeing the smooth and effective operation of our early learning centre, ensuring we provide exceptional care and education for the children in our community.

What you'll be doing

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the centre, including staff management and compliance with relevant regulations
• Foster a nurturing and enriching learning environment that supports the holistic development of each child
• Lead a dedicated team of early childhood educators, providing guidance and mentoring
• Build strong relationships with families and the local community
• Work with the Educational Leader to implement and continually review the centre's curriculum and programming to ensure it aligns with the National Quality Standards
• Maintain a safe, secure, and well-resourced learning space
• Manage administrative duties and ensure compliance with all relevant legislative and regulatory requirements

What we're looking for

• A Diploma or Bachelor of Early Childhood Education or equivalent
• Experience in a senior leadership or Director role within the childcare industry
• Christian Faith
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with families, staff, and the community
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
• A deep understanding of the National Quality Framework and Regulations and a commitment to delivering high-quality early childhood education
• Demonstrated success in leading and developing a team of early childhood educators
• A passion for creating a nurturing, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment for young children
