Role and Responsibilities:

As an integral member of our team, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts, partnerships, and self-managed superannuation funds (SMSFs)
  • Preparing financial statements for various entity types
  • Completing and lodging Business Activity Statements (BAS)
  • Liaising with clients and the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) as needed
  • Performing general bookkeeping duties
  • Assisting with ad hoc accounting and administrative tasks as required

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business, or a related field
  • Proven experience preparing Australian tax returns
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero, MYOB, and QuickBooks
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience working directly with clients in a professional setting
  • A proactive attitude, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
