Quality and Safeguarding
Partner to join our collaborative People & Quality team. This role is vital to supporting our services to be child-safe, compliant, and continuously improving – supporting best outcomes for children, families, and educators.

The Role
Reporting to the Quality and Safeguarding Lead, you'll support quality and safeguarding processes across the organisation. You'll manage investigations, coordinate the continuous improvement register, support compliance with the National Quality Framework, and help ensure Lady Gowrie Tasmania maintains strong child-safe and regulatory standards.
In This Role, You Will
- Conduct investigations and prepare clear, actionable reports.
- Coordinate the central Continuous Improvement Register and corrective actions.
- Support policy and process reviews to maintain compliance with relevant legislation including, the Education and Care Services National Law (Tasmania) Act 2011, National Regulations and the Child and Youth Safe Organisations (Tasmania) Act 2023.
- Provide reporting and data analysis to inform decision-making and drive improvement.
- Build collaborative relationships across services and external partners to promote best practice and information accessibility.

What You'll Bring
You're a detail-focused professional who thrives on improving systems and building trust. You'll bring strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills, with a working knowledge of safeguarding, quality, or compliance frameworks.
- Relevant tertiary qualification (e.g. Quality, Compliance, Early Childhood, Human Services or related field) and/or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated experience in incident management, investigations, or regulatory compliance.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative approach to teamwork.
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Strong digital literacy and ability to learn new systems quickly
- High level of accuracy, attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities.
- Current (or ability to obtain) Tasmanian Working with Vulnerable People Registration (child-related activity).
