About the role


We are seeking a highly motivated Accountant Assistant to join a well-established client that is at the forefront of delivering essential services across diverse sectors throughout Australia.

In this pivotal role, you will collate and process claims to a tight deadline and assist with journal preparation, cost allocation, and other ad hoc month end (and non-month end) journals and cost transfers.

Skills and experience required

  • Prior All rounder/Project Accountant experience.
  • Experience in Project Accounting, cost control, financial reconciliations, claims.
  • Experience working in projects: dealing with stakeholders, producing client claims through to approved billing.
  • Demonstrated Advanced Excel Skills: PivotTables, VLOOKUP, SUMIF.
  • Preferred but not mandatory: CA/CPA highly preferred but if working towards this is fine.
