About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to join our team on a full time basis. Reporting to the Accounts and Finance Manager you will be responsible for processing daily transactions, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and general office duties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process and manage supplier invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal policies
  • Prepare weekly creditor payment runs
  • Process weekly payroll
  • Follow up accounts receivables for overdue payments
  • Process bank and credit card reconciliations
  • Assist with end-of-month processes, including account reconciliations and reporting
  • Responding to customer account inquiries
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth workflow and resolve invoice or payment queries
  • Support the wider finance team with general finance administration tasks as required

About You

  • 2 years experience in Accounts Payable or Finance
  • Experience using MYOB
  • Strong organisational skills and high attention to detail
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and a good understanding of accounting principles
