Workers' Compensation Lawyer - Statutory Insurance | Leading National Firm

We are partnering with a highly respected national law firm to recruit a Workers' Compensation Lawyer to join their top-tier statutory insurance team.

This is an exciting opportunity to step into a high-performing and well-supported team working on complex and rewarding matters across workers' compensation. With offices in both Newcastle and Sydney, this role offers genuine flexibility, career development, and exposure to senior legal professionals in a collaborative environment.

Key Details:

  • Title: Workers' Compensation Lawyer

  • Location: Sydney or Newcastle (hybrid working environment)

  • Experience: Minimum 3 years' post-admission experience

  • Team: Statutory Insurance - Workers' Compensation (NSW)

  • Structure: Work closely with partners and legal professionals across both locations

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a diverse portfolio of workers' compensation matters

  • Advise clients on personal injury claims and NSW statutory frameworks

  • Draft clear and concise legal advice and correspondence

  • Collaborate with a high-performing team across Sydney and Newcastle

  • Contribute to a supportive team culture with clear pathways for progression

About You:

  • Admitted to practice in NSW with a current practising certificate

  • Minimum 2 years' PAE, with experience in personal injury - ideally workers' compensation

  • Strong legal writing and communication skills with attention to detail

  • A team player who values mentorship, collaboration, and career development
