Can you demonstrate prior experience delivering high quality services to meet our client's needs?  Do you have empathy?  Are you well-organized, and professional with a passion for supporting older Australians in their homes? We're looking for a Home Care Package Coordinator who can bring heart, strategy, and cultural awareness to our growing aged care team. You'll join a highly experienced, multi-lingual and multi-cultural team who make a big difference to the lives of our clients and know how to support each other.

You will need to demonstrate prior experience in the following areas:

  • Tailored support packages that empower clients to help them live independently
  • Coordination of services
  • Building trusting relationships with diverse clients and families (this is where Greek language and/or cultural awareness would be an advantage)
  • Knowledge of the Aged Care Quality Standards needed
  • Advocacy for culturally inclusive service delivery

Skills and abilities you must have to be successful in this role:

  • Efficient administration and communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Great listening skills with the ability to problem solve
  • The ability to write clear and concise notes to the standards required
  • An ability to work as part of a team
  • Empathy and compassion as well as sound time management skills
  • A high degree of computer literacy
  • Prior experience in aged or community care
  • A commitment to dignity, respect & inclusion
  • Ideally the ability to speak Greek and be culturally aware of Greek culture (while not essential certainly would be advantageous)
