This is a hands-on role where every day looks a little different - one morning you might be pulling campaign analytics, the next you could be organising product for a photoshoot, coordinating athlete sponsorships, or supporting the launch of a brand-new promotion.

If you're eager to explore the world of marketing but not sure which area you want to specialise in just yet, this is the perfect role to get broad exposure. You'll gain practical experience across digital, content, partnerships, and events, all while working closely with our Marketing Manager and wider team.

About the role:

The Marketing Assistant will provide day-to-day support to the marketing team across a wide variety of tasks, ensuring campaigns, sponsorships, and content projects run smoothly. This role is suited to someone who is eager to learn, enjoys variety, and thrives in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Assist with planning, scheduling, and publishing content across social platforms (using Meta Business Suite and Later).
• Support campaign rollouts, ensuring assets and timelines are managed effectively.
• Coordinate EDMs (email campaigns) across multiple platforms.
• Create and edit short-form video content using tools like CapCut.
• Work alongside the graphic designer to produce on-brand creative assets.
• Help prepare and organise products for photoshoots and events.
• Collaborate with the Sponsorship & Athletes Lead to support athlete partnerships.
• Provide general marketing administration support, including performance reporting.
• Occasionally attend events for content creation and brand promotion.

Selection Criteria

Essential:

• Friendly and professional disposition, and high level awareness of self-branding
• A keen interest in marketing and a willingness to learn across different areas.
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
• Confidence in content creation (photo, video, reels).
• Basic copywriting skills for social posts and EDMs.
• Familiarity with platforms such as Meta Business Suite, Later, and CapCut (preferred but not essential).
• A positive, team-oriented attitude with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Current driver's licence and own transport

Preferred:

• Exceptional interpersonal, communication and organisation skills
• High level of computer literacy (Microsoft Office & Adobe)
• Friendly and professional disposition, and high level awareness of self-branding
