About the Role

As a Change Manager, you will:

  • Implement VU's Change Management Framework across strategic and operational programs, with a specific focus on staff and student timetabling initiatives.

  • Design and execute communication and engagement strategies to support stakeholder buy-in and senior leadership alignment.

  • Influence and guide teams to deliver business value and improve customer experience.

  • Assess project scope and impact to develop tailored change strategies and actionable plans.

  • Collaborate with Program and Project Managers to integrate change management into project delivery.

  • Conduct training needs analysis and support the creation of training materials.

  • Establish systems to measure change adoption, readiness, and effectiveness.

Contribute to the Change Management Community of Practice and continuous improvement initiatives.

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • Postgraduate qualifications or extensive experience in change management or digital transformation.

  • Proven success in developing and applying change management frameworks in complex environments.

  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and gain executive support.

  • Experience integrating change strategies into project plans to ensure smooth transitions.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to craft strategic messaging.

  • Ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams and foster collaboration.

  • Strong organisational skills to manage multiple priorities and deliver within tight timelines.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint.
