About the role:

In this exciting role, you'll be the go-to advisor for current and prospective students exploring TAFE and pathway study options. You'll provide accurate, timely, and engaging course advice, and showcase the benefits of studying at VU. You'll also play a key role in delivering marketing, recruitment, and event activities designed to inspire and convert prospective students into enrolled VU learners.

Working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders, you'll develop initiatives to boost applications, coordinate and attend events, and ensure our future students have a seamless and positive experience from their first enquiry to enrolment.

Key responsibilities:

  • Advise prospective and current students on TAFE and pathway study options, highlighting the benefits of a VU education.
  • Plan, coordinate, and participate in future student activities and events, including expos, school visits, and on-campus activities.
  • Work collaboratively with colleges, admissions, and pathways teams to drive student recruitment and conversion.
  • Represent VU at internal and external events, delivering high-quality, consistent course and admissions information.
  • Develop reporting tools to track and evaluate pathway-related enrolments and event effectiveness.
    Deliver exceptional customer service across multiple channels – online, phone, and in-person.

About you

You're a confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage people from diverse backgrounds. You bring experience in account management, sales, event coordination, or a related field, and have a proven track record in delivering high-quality customer service. You thrive in busy environments, can juggle competing priorities, and know how to turn an enquiry into an enrolment.

You will also have:

  • A degree with relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Demonstrated experience organising events and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines under pressure.
    A current Victorian Driver's Licence and Employee Working with Children Check.
