We are currently seeking a Warehouse/Materials Handler (Plate) to join our busy and motivated team at Wacol. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same, while gaining hands-on experience alongside highly skilled professionals.

What you'll be doing:
  • Unloading and loading incoming and outgoing trucks, managing plate arrivals using overhead cranes and forklifts
  • Supplying material to profile machines for cutting
  • Storing and organising full and remnant plate
  • Liaising with CAD and Profile Teams to maintain job schedules
  • Carrying out general warehouse duties
  • Following all safety procedures and contributing to a safe workplace
What we're looking for:
  • Previous experience in a similar role within the steel industry (advantageous)
  • Proficiency in operating overhead cranes
  • A current forklift licence (essential)
  • Solid knowledge of warehousing operations
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
