About the role

Hire Republic is seeking a dedicated Warehouse Assistant to join our team in Murarrie, Queensland. This is a full-time role responsible for supporting the efficient operation of our warehouse and distribution centre. As a Warehouse Assistant, you will play a crucial part in ensuring our products and materials are stored, handled and dispatched in a timely and accurate manner.

What you'll be doing

  • Receive, unload and process incoming stock and materials
  • Pick, pack and dispatch outgoing orders accurately and efficiently
  • Maintain inventory records and provide stock reports as required
  • Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks and scanners
  • Assist with warehouse housekeeping and general labouring duties
  • Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with health and safety regulations

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience working in a warehouse or logistics environment
  • Ability to work quickly and accurately to meet deadlines
  • Good numerical and IT skills with experience using inventory management systems
  • Forklift licence or willingness to obtain one
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Commitment to workplace health and safety
