Fabricators / Labourers / Templaters / Installers

Our dynamic Stonemason company located in Burleigh Heads is seeking experienced candidates for the following positions:-

** Stone Mason / Benchtop Fabricator

Duties:

  • Cutting, polishing, and finishing of engineered and natural stone
  • Reading plans and job specifications
  • Operating machinery (e.g., bridge saws, polishers, edge machines)
  • Completing mitres, sink cutouts, and other detailed work
  • Ensuring quality workmanship and meeting deadlines

Requirements:

  • Experience in stone fabrication (Caesarstone, marble, granite, etc.)
  • Skilled with stone tools and machinery
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • High attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship
  • White Card and driver's licence preferred

** Labourer / Factory Hand

Duties:

  • Assisting fabricators with lifting, moving, and general workshop tasks
  • Keeping the workshop clean and safe
  • Loading and unloading materials
  • Basic tool and machinery handling (training provided)

Requirements:

  • Physically fit and reliable
  • Willing to learn and follow instructions
  • Positive attitude and team-focused
  • Previous experience in a factory, construction, or stone industry is a bonus but not essential

** Stone Templaters

  • Visiting sites to take precise benchtop measurements and create templates (digital or manual)
  • Reading and interpreting architectural plans and drawings
  • Communicating with clients, builders, and installers to ensure accuracy
  • Liaising with the fabrication team to ensure smooth workflow and delivery
  • Quality-checking jobs before and after install if required

Requirements:

  • Experience in stone masonry, benchtop templating, or cabinetry/kitchen installation
  • Strong knowledge of stone products – natural and engineered
  • Ability to use templating tools and software (e.g., Prodim, Laser Templators, or physical templates)
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Manual driver's licence and White Card

** Stone Installers

  • Safely transporting and handling stone benchtops
  • Installing stone benchtops with a high level of accuracy and finish
  • Completing joins, sink and cooktop cutouts, and silicone sealing
  • Reading and interpreting plans and job specifications
  • Communicating professionally with clients, builders, and team members
  • Maintaining high standards of safety, cleanliness, and workmanship

Requirements:

  • Experience in stone benchtop installation or similar trade (cabinetry, tiling, stonemasonry)
  • Good knowledge of stone products – Caesarstone, granite, marble, porcelain, etc.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work to tight tolerances
  • Physically fit and capable of lifting heavy materials
  • White Card and current driver's licence (manual preferred)
  • Tools and vehicle all provided

For these roles you will need experience within the industry, motivated with good work ethics.

A current Driver's Licence and White Card required.
