About the Role

You will mainly be responsible for rigging-up and rigging-down of Testing & Subsea equipment at work locations both on and offshore.

This position reports to the Service Manager and will be basedat Jandakot, WA. You will be required to FIFO on a variable shift roster to various on-shore and off-shore locations around Australia. Actual work location can vary based on operational need.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervises all phases of the rigging up and down of Testing & Subsea service line equipment at work locations both on and offshore
  • Provides the planning necessary for the job including equipment set up, well site direction, and customer related support activities
  • Responsible for the activities relative to maintaining, setting up, testing, and operating equipment at the customer location and field camp
  • Mentors and trains lower-level Service Operators and Operator Assistants
  • Monitors instruments and performs necessary calculations to ensure quality of data

Role Requirements

  • 9+ years' experience in oil field drilling activities
  • 5+ years of underbalanced drilling and/or managed pressure drilling
  • Adherence to standard procedures and HSE requirements
  • Flexible and able to work in dynamic environment
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Can work well within a team
