High-performing Employment Consultants wanted

Make a lasting impact working as an Inclusive Employment Specialist within the new Inclusive Employment Australia contract .

Shape the future of Inclusive Employment in Australia

ORS is proud to launch our brand-new Inclusive Employment Australia – Mental Health Specialist division. We are seeking passionate, motivated, and high-performing Inclusive Employment Specialists to support participants living with mental health conditions into meaningful, sustainable employment.

This is a unique opportunity to work within an evidence-based service, change lives, and help build inclusive communities where everyone can thrive.

About the Role

As an Inclusive Employment Specialist, you will manage a caseload of participants with mental health disability and provide tailored, person-centred support that empowers them to achieve their employment goals.

You will:

  • Deliver services using the Individual Placement & Support (IPS) Model — the world's most evidence-based approach to employment for people with mental illness.
  • Support participants through every step of their journey: vocational profiling, job search, resume and interview preparation, placement, post-placement support and ongoing support.
  • Strive to exceed individual and team performance targets, delivering sustainable employment outcomes and contributing to the overall success of the service.
  • Build strong partnerships with local employers to create inclusive job opportunities.
  • Work collaboratively with NDIS and community providers, ensuring wrap-around supports for participants' wellbeing.
  • Monitor outcomes, keep accurate records, and contribute to continuous improvement in service delivery.
  • Celebrate participant achievements and foster resilience, confidence, and long-term success.

Why ORS?

With over 750 employees across 22 national sites, ORS has been transforming lives for more than 30 years through allied health, disability, employment, and workplace rehabilitation services.

When you join ORS, you'll benefit from:

  • Specialist IPS training and access to evidence-based practices.
  • Collaboration with multi-disciplinary professionals including Psychologists, Positive Behaviour Support Practitioners, OTs, Speech Pathologists, Dieticians and Rehabilitation Consultants.
  • Employee wellbeing initiatives: monthly in-office massages, team-building events, ergonomic assessments, and workplace adjustments.
  • Flexible work options, paid parental leave, and tailored return-to-work support.
  • An additional week of annual leave after three years of service.
  • Clear career pathways into leadership or specialist roles across NDIS, Inclusive Employment, and Workplace Rehabilitation.

What You Will Need

  • A relevant Certificate III or higher qualification (Employment Services, Community Services, Mental Health, or related field).
  • Experience in employment services, mental health support, or disability services.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust with participants, their supports and employers.
  • Business development skills and local employer connections (highly regarded).
  • Current driver's licence and your own vehicle.
  • Ability to obtain all required clearances (NDIS, Working with Children, Police Check).

How to Apply

If you are ready to make a meaningful difference as an Inclusive Employment Specialist, we would love to hear from you.

Apply today and help us create a future where everyone — regardless of mental health or disability — can thrive through meaningful employment.

Our Commitment to Inclusion
