Monadelphous' Maintenance & Industrial Service division provides support in the management and execution of construction, maintenance, shutdowns and sustaining capital works. Our delivery of high-quality work within the mining sector has earnt us a solid reputation and enviable relationships with some of the industry's leading operators. Our Mining & Minerals North West team is currently seeking a Lead Surveyor to provide support across current and upcoming works.

Key Responsibilities

• Sound understanding of IFC and isometric drawings
• Be proficient at using autoCAD and converting into other files such as DXF
• Competent in setting up in field base stations and setting up assets such as graders / excavators to operate from the specific files provided via GPS
• Survey set outs across multidiscipline projects and maintenance activities
• Reduce, compute, document and report survey data to stakeholders
• Build and maintain project models including updates from third party survey where required using 12D Model Software
• Complete all site-based fieldwork to high standards
• Develop collaborative relationships with various internal and external stakeholders
• Ability to undertake site travel on an ad hoc basis

What you'll bring:

• Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar position within the industry
• Surveying qualification (Diploma, Advanced Diploma, or Bachelor's degree)
• Experience in the resources industry including multidisciplinary projects is highly desirable
• Strong attention to detail and coordination skills
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented approach with the ability to foster interpersonal relationships across all levels
• Excellent computer skills in MS Office Suite.
• Proof of rights to work in Australia
