About the Role

Clarity Partners is collaborating with a leading global-scale gold producer known for its world-class mining operations across Western Australia. This is a rewarding opportunity to join a highly professional Underground Mining team at one of their substantial WA operations.

We are seeking an experienced Mine Surveyor for a key operational role where you'll directly support and ensure the successful execution of the underground mine plan. You will collaborate closely with the Underground Management team, providing crucial support for the safe and efficient delivery of the mining schedule. This position is ideal for a proactive surveyor who thrives in a technical, high-performing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute setting out and marking up production drill plans ahead of the drill schedule.
  • Conduct comprehensive end-of-month processes for development and stope reconciliation.
  • Perform regular Cavity Monitoring Scans (CMS) on open stopes and historical areas requiring scanning.
  • Manage diamond drilling set-outs and collar pickups in line with geological requirements for grade control and reserve definition drilling programs.
  • Collaborate effectively with the Senior Mining Engineer and Mine Foreman to ensure survey priorities align with operational demands.
  • Participate in training and mentoring Surveying Graduates and vacation students, ensuring correct methods and standards are upheld.

About You

  • Proven experience in underground mining.
  • Ability to obtain the Mine Surveyors' Certificate Grade One (1).
  • Demonstrated proficiency with industry-standard software, including Surpac and Deswik.
  • Extensive experience with modern survey instruments, specifically Leica Instruments.
  • Current Unencumbered Western Australian "C" Class Driver's Licence.

  • Willingness to either relocate to or be based regionally for this operation.
