The Role

Are you a go-getter who loves the thrill of sales and making an impact in-store? We're on the hunt for a motivated and results-driven Merchandiser / Sales Support Representative to support our team and keep things running smoothly in the Food & Beverage industry.

In this dynamic role, you'll be the driving force behind product visibility—securing prime shelf space, optimising in-store merchandising, and building great relationships with retailers. You'll also step in to provide field sales coverage when needed, ensuring seamless support for our team and keeping our products top of mind (and cart).

Key Responsibilities:

• Create eye-catching merchandising displays that not only grab attention but also meet customer and company compliance standards.
• Build strong, lasting relationships with key contacts in customer stores.
• Drive company success by effectively executing marketing initiatives, promotional campaigns and product launches.
• Monitor product inventory levels, manage best before dates and rotate stock, recommend stock replenishments, and coordinate with sales team to prevent stock shortages.
• Track sales performance tied to marketing and point-of-sale displays, report insights to customers, analyse market and competitor trends, and provide strategic recommendations for growth.
• Step in to provide field sales coverage and support when team members are on annual leave.

Required Experience and Attributes

You are:

• Adaptable, proactive, and a problem-solver who takes pride in your work.
• Confident communicator who builds strong relationships at all levels.
• Skilled in negotiation, interpersonal communication, and tech, including email, Teams, and Microsoft Office.
• Self-motivated with excellent time management and organization.
• Physically active and capable of setting up pallet displays and promotions.
• Experience in retail, merchandising, sales, or brand ambassadorship is a plus but not essential.
• Must have a valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle (fuel allowance provided).

This role involves physical activity including lifting, pushing, pulling and stacking product that weighs up to 10kg. As part of the recruitment process, you will be assessed via a short medical assessment.
